Landmarks Denies Casino Deal

As reported by the Edge Daily: "Landmarks Bhd said on Aug 22 that it was not involved in any negotiation to participate in any casino venture in Indonesia or elsewhere.

"In a statement, Landmarks said: 'The company denies that it is involved in any negotiation to participate in any casino ventures in Indonesia or elsewhere.'

"…Such speculation has arisen after Genting Bhd acquired a 16.65% stake in Landmarks for RM160 million cash.

"Genting is now the second largest shareholder in Landmarks, behind North Symphony Sdn Bhd, which has an 8.65% stake…"
