After his stunning five-shot victory
at the PGA Championship it would appear that Tiger Woods is unbeatable
right now, but can he continue to dominate the field next year and win all
four majors on the 2007 PGA Tour? Odds makers at Sportsbook.com, the

Capturing his 12th Major this weekend at Medinah Country Club, Woods
passed Walter Hagen to become second on the all-time Major wins list behind
Jack Nicklaus with 18. Winning a Grand Slam is no easy task, the last
player to do so was Bobby Jones in 1930 and it has yet to be accomplished
in the PGA Tour's modern format. Odds on Woods completing the feat and
winning all four Majors - The Masters, The British Open, The US Open and
The PGA Championship - are currently 40-1.
Although the odds are against Tiger completing the Grand Slam, he may
be in contention to hold all four major championships simultaneously. He is
the only player in the modern era to have accomplished this before, and
after back-to-back Major wins at the British Open and PGA Championship this
season, a victory at the Masters and U.S. Open next year will mark the
second time Woods has held all four majors at the same time.
