Spam is no longer out of the equation when it comes to
Online casinos. We are all aware of spam as it entered our Internet mail boxes offering us more than the free diplomas and the repetitive enlargement offer sent not only to males. The
online casino users were safe from such obscene offers until just recently when Sophos, an Australian IT security firm warned of the use of nudity to attract computer users enjoying the online casino.
The warning was referred to a spam campaign trying to lure internet users to an online casino using a method of badly written e-mail messages and promising nude "lice over the internet" croupiers. These e-mails offer a link to an unidentified online casino website that portrays a video concerning live nude dealers, encouraging gamblers to sign in. This certainly puts the "live" online casino aspect in a new perspective. Although it is not clear yet as to which specific online casino uses the spam nudity for promoting itself, there is some speculation regarding a Canadian company.
Last month, the IT Company reported that legal action is being taken against two other companies that are said to have sent e-mails that promote alcoholic drinks and
gambling, spamming it out also to children. They recommend companies and homes to protect themselves against such harms including spy ware and viruses as well as spam. Online casino users have long enjoyed the cleaner side of gambling at the security of their private homes, enjoying a safe controlled environment. A few precautions are indeed necessary but overall it seems that the little pleasures of online casino still remain intact.
