Hard Rock Begins Rebuilding

As reported by the Clarion Ledger: "Construction to re-build Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi should get under way next week, according to the executive director of the Mississippi Gaming Commission.

"…Roy Anderson Corp. will be the contractor for the project, he said.

"There are no plans to open a temporary casino, but the re-built Hard Rock is expected to open by July 4, 2007, Gregory said.

"Hard Rock, which promised rock 'n' roll, plasma screen TVs in all the hotel rooms and lavish colors, was just days away from opening for the first time when Katrina hit…"
