Pennsylvania Board Begins Comment Period

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today began 5-day public-comment periods on four sets of draft regulations: Emergency Board Orders; Labor Organizations; Employee Status Reports; and Omnibus Regulation Changes.

Comments must be postmarked by June 20, 2006 to be considered. The draft regulations are available on the Board's Web site, http://www.pgcb.state.pa.us. Click on "Regulations" and "Draft Regulations" to view these drafts.

In addition, the Gaming Control Board today adopted final temporary regulations governing Horsemen's Organizations; Certification of Key Employee Qualifiers and Key Employees of Vendors; Licensing Hearings; and Underage Gaming. The Board also adopted a series of technical amendments to existing regulations.
