New Las Vegas Casino Will Team Up With Maxim

Maxim Magazine, a publication geared mostly towards men, will have its name attached to a $1.2 billion hotel casino in Las Vegas set to open by 2010. Maxim Magazine features articles and topics that are geared towards male readers and obviously poker and casino gambling is something that appeals to men. It only made sense that they would get involved in the establishment of a new casino resort in Las Vegas. Concord Wilshire Partners LLC will work together with Maxim in order to build a 2,300-room Maxim Hotel & Casino with a 60,000-square foot casino located on the Las Vegas strip.

Though the new casino development in Las Vegas is still in planning, construction is due to start in 2007 and the expected completion date is 2010. Said Barry Pincus the director of brand development for Maxim "It's going to be upscale, it's going to be four-star, it's going to be sexy and flirtatious, absolutely. But it'll also be fun, it'll be comfortable." New casinos and gambling venues are popping up in Las Vegas all the time but getting a spot on the famous strip is not easy.

Along with a fully operational casino area there will also be many other entertainment venues such as the 3,000-seat concert venue, a pool, spa, and retail stores, as well as restaurants and a nightclub called Maxim Lounge. 2,000 rooms are slated to be sold as condominium apartments that the owners can also rent out to guests while they are not there. This is one of the most highly anticipated casino operations in Las Vegas.
