Riverside Casino Holding Job Fairs

As reported by KWWL.com: "It's been just more than a year since four Iowa communities got word they would be the next sites for casinos. That has generated excitement over the prospect of hundreds of new jobs. Saturday people lined up to submit their applications to work at the Riverside Casino and Golf Course in Washington County.

"The Johnson County Fairgrounds turned into to a career center for the Riverside Casino and Golf Course. Hundreds of people showed up to fill out applications as dealers, security workers or information technology jobs. The 58,000 gaming space will employ more than 800 people both full and part-time.

"...The casino will be filled with more than 1,000 slot machines and two-dozen blackjack tables. There will also be room for craps, roulette, and poker.

"The casino will hold another job fair July 7th, 8th and 9th at the Riverside Elementary School..."
