Microgaming may have lost a great deal of business from US players after the passing of the UIGEA, but they are still very excited about moving forward in the UK market as they announced today a new head of their business development and marketing department, Bruce Elliot, a former Neteller Vice President.

Although Microgaming still takes money from all but 11 states in the US there are very few payment options available to US players. Microgaming does not seem to be concerned, in fact, they are excited about the future of the industry.

Roger Raatgever, the current CEO of Microgaming said, "We are delighted to welcome Bruce on board at an extremely exciting time in our industry. The business has expanded significantly over the past year and Bruce's experience will prove invaluable in driving this success forward across a diverse range of new markets."

Bruce Elliot is considered to be an insider for Microgaming because he has worked so extensively with Neteller on the Isle of Man, who works closely with Microgaming and other online casinos.

"Having known many of the Microgaming team from my time working on the Isle of Man, it is great to now be part of what is undoubtedly one of the powerhouses of the gaming industry," Elliot said.

Prior to Neteller, Bruce worked in Sales and Marketing for GE Capital. He has extensive training in PR and advertising and Microgaming welcomes him to their team.
