The scene was majestic in the Rio Casino just moments ago as Phil Helmuth was awarded his 11th WSOP bracelet by none other than poker legends Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson.

Hellmuth was battling a game competitor in Andy Philacheck in event #15, a $1500 buy in No Limit Hold'em event. The final hand occured when Philacheck decided to push all in with A-10 of clubs, Hellmuth made the call with ace-spades, 3-hearts. Although he was dominated going to the flop, it came out 9-hearts, 3-diamonds, 4-clubs. Hellmuth was now ahead and had two dodge two cards for the victory. The turn came Q-hearts, and the river J-hearts, and the bracelet and first place money was Hellmuths with a pair of 3s.

First place for the event paid $637,254 and put Hellmuth over $7 million in winnings. Philacheck won $394,594 for second in the tourney.
