After last seasons results for the New Orleans Saints, which included a run through the NFC playoffs, the expectations were extremely high coming into this year, now after starting the season win less, they are just looking to survive.
Sunday night the Saints will have another tough test as they face what appears to be one of the better teams in the league in the Seattle Seahawks.
Seattle will be looking to get back on track after starting the year 3-1, they ran into a buzz saw in the Pittsburgh Steelers that dominated them 21-0. That left the Seahawks looking to tonights
game for revenge.
New Orleans problems surprisingly lie with their offense, a group that went up and down the field at will last year suddenly is having a problem moving the ball with any bit of consistency.
On the other side, the Seahawks up until last week have been doing a good job of utilizing superstar running back Shaun Alexander. Their defense has also been among the leagues best so far and they are sure to be licking their chops to get after Drew Brees.
Even a win by the Saints would only be a starting point for the struggling team, but it is a starting point that anyone in the organization would surely welcome.
