The LSU Tigers had been the favorites to be the #1 ranked team in the BCS, but then on Saturday the Tigers blew their chance as they lost to Kentucky and opened the door for Ohio State to be #1.
South Florida, who has never been ranked in any poll before this year, amazingly, they have played their way to #2 in the BCS.
An ACC team, Boston College, has not lost a game and because of that they have earned the right to be the #3 team in the BCS, although the Eagles are ranked ahead of South Florida in both the human polls.
LSU took a tough loss at Kentucky Saturday, but they did not fall to far as they are #4 and in striking range of the top.
Oklahoma has recovered nicely from an upset loss to Colorado and have fought their way back to be the #5 team in the rankings.
South Carolina and coach Steve Spurrier are turning some heads and are the #6 team.
Kentucky fresh off their LSU victory is #7, but to stay there they will have to beat the Florida Gators next weekend.
Arizona State is #8, followed by West Virginia at #9, and Oregon rounds out the top ten.
The defending champion Gators, with two losses already, are all the way down at #15.
Surprisingly, Michigan, after their horrendous start is actually in the rankings at #25.
