British Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific Airline will introduce access to online casinos during flights beginning early next year. The first to offer these services was Virgin Airlines, who offered flyers the ability to play at the Virgin online casino.

Now, in an attempt to raise numbers that have long been declining, 888.com will be doing the same. One of the world's largest online gaming companies, 888.com, will partner with the before mentioned airlines to provide passengers the ability to use their television screens to reach online casinos and place bets using credit cards.

Poker, blackjack, and roulette, among other games, will be available to air travelers now that technology has advanced enough to give airlines the chance to offer individuals Internet connections. Other airlines are expected to soon follow suit.

Representatives from the UK's charity organization, Gamcare, believe this move will open up the industry to players who normally would not even know that online casinos existed. 888.com, who meets all regulatory UK standards, is hoping that is just the case.
