Liquidator Plans to Re-open Legenda Casino

As reported by the Manila Standard: "The court-appointed liquidator of Legend International Resorts Inc. yesterday vowed to reopen the controversial Legenda Hotel and Casino in Subic without firingt a single employee.

"Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. closed down Legenda Hotel in May after Legend International, a Hong Kong-registered company, failed to remit 15 percent of revenues to the state-run gaming company.

"Kelvin Flynn of Alvarez and Marsal, who was appointed liquidator of Legend International by a Hong Kong court on June 9, said he planned to bring in new management personnel with expertise in hotel and gaming to reoperate the hotel and casino…"
