According to sources close to negotiations, a deal between the Seminole Indians and the state of Florida is close to getting done, which means full gaming could be coming to the sunshine state in the near future.
The sticking point to the deal could be the fact that Crist might not be able to enter into a compact with the Indian tribe without it being approved by legislation.

Since his retirement though, the Dolphins offense has resembled more of a sputtering tank than a high powered assault weapon.

The Seminole Indian Tribe in Florida is close to signing a deal with the state that would allow them to run full Vegas style gaming casinos.
Sources in the government revealed that Charlie Crist, the Florida state governor, has offered the Seminoles the ability to run all Class 3 games including slots, blackjack, and baccarat. The state, in return would receive a piece of the profits from the new games.

After much consultation with their attorneys the West Virginia Family Foundation, a right wing conservative christian organization has decided not to file a federal lawsuit against the state to overturn its gambling laws.

As reported before, Florida Governor Charlie Crist is negotiating with the Seminole Indian tribe to try to strike a deal to allow the Seminoles to offer full class three license gambling.
The deal would have to be agreed upon before a deadline that has already been set for the third week in August. If a deal is not set, then the Seminoles will push forward with a Federal lawsuit.
